MPSSDI Data Repository

This contains various GIS Data which includes, administrative layers, thematic layers, time-series satellite data, drone data, topographical data etc.

GIS DATA

GIS has five layers, which are spatial reference framework, spatial data model, spatial data acquisition systems, spatial data analysis, and geo-visualization

SATELLITE DATA

Satellite data or satellite imagery is understood as information about Earth and other planets in the space, gathered by man-made satellites in their orbits. The most common use for satellite data is Earth Observation (EO): satellites deliver information about the surface and weather changes on the planet Earth.

DRONE DATA

In order to carry out better planning & execution of developmental projects, usage of "Drone" may provide a technical support, A dedicated drone initiative by MPSEDC has the potential to enable better governance for the state of Madhya Pradesh below are the list of some use cases where Proof of Concept (PoC) conducted on Drone Mapping done by MPSEDC

TOPOGRAPHIC DATA

Topographic data are information about the elevation of the surface of the Earth. Two such data types are commonly used with GeoPads. The first are data that represent the information typically found on a topographic quadrangle map, such as contour lines, roads, streams, railroads, towns, etc.
